On Saturday came the news of 24 blasts ripping the heart of Ahmedabad, the flourishing industrial market of India. Some 50 people were reported killed, while many lay injured. Many loving families were torn apart and many intelligent minds were forced to go in the silent lap of death. Everywhere the deadly silence of death and torture appeared to be prominent. Humanity was no doubt trampled under the crude feet of terrorism.
After the attacks, many blogs, articles, as well as comments were given by people, venting out their anger and hatred against these attacks. Every Indian heart seemed to bleed out tears of blood on hearing the wails of blast victims. After all, India suffered a brutal attack and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that terrorism and violence appeared to win against India, the preacher of non-violence!
But, there must be someone, may be sitting miles away from India, being happy at the thought of so many innocent lives being taken. There must be someone, who would have distributed sweets, on hearing about his plan of wiping out so many lives in one instance being successful! Yes, I am talking about the terrorist groups, who would have planned every minute detail of the attack since months now. And, it hurts to say that they surely have succeeded in spreading terror!
But, how can a human being so cruel? How can a human mind be so dangerous that it creates only destruction? Don’t these terrorists have families or children of their own? Doesn’t the wailings of innocent children, who are victimized by these blasts, torture them at night? Doesn’t their conscience accuse them? Don’t they see their hands covered with blood?
I heard somewhere that a person who has his family waiting for him can never be cruel to other human being! But, I guess calling these terrorists as humans in like abusing humankind! Because humans have many more things to bother about than thinking about ways of taking other human lives!
May GOD give peace to the departed souls of Ahmedabad and Bangalore blasts and strength to their families!
